CAMP DETAILS

Dates have been set for the 2017 Summer Camps. Grade applies to the player's 2017-18 school year - grade entering next fall.

  • July 10th - 13th, 9am to 2pm | Advanced 5th Graders - 8th Graders
  • July 17th - 20th, 9am to 2pm | 1st Graders - Beginning 5th Graders

This is a change back to grade divisions by week to ensure the best possible camp experience for all levels.

Camps will be held at International School (445 128th Ave SE, Bellevue, WA 98005).

Register on the home page using the Register Now button.  Each player should register for the grade he is entering in the fall of 2017.

Share with your friends!  Summer camps do NOT have school/residence eligibility constraints and are open to age appropriate players from ALL areas.

Summer camps are designed to improve individual skills and they are a fun way to meet more lacrosse players. The camps are specifically geared toward fundamental individual skills and the introduction to team concepts. Our outstanding staff will focus on teaching the skills each player needs. If your player is learning the game for the first time or looking to take his game to the next level, this is a great camp for your player.

All sessions include:

  • Individual instruction for all positions
  • Team concepts and tournament games
  • Prizes for camp MVP, Most Improved Player, Camper of the week, etc.

Campers will need full lacrosse gear: helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, mouthpiece, athletic cup, sneakers/cleats.

 

CAMP DIRECTORS

We are excited to announce the Directors of this year's Bellevue Lacrosse summer camp will be Nick Welton, Jack Albrecht and Michael Medzegian.  These men have extensive experience in the sport of lacrosse and are beyond excited to help teach and refine your son's lacrosse skills and fundamentals.
 
Nick Welton

Nick Welton is now in his 10th year of coaching lacrosse and his 5th year at Bellevue, having coached at nearly every capacity, year round. Previously, Coach Welton served as an assistant coach on 7/8 Blue and JV teams. This year he is serving as the Head Coach for the Wolverines' JV team and interim Varsity Head Coach. He brings coaching experience from both the youth and high school levels. As a High school defenseman, Coach Welton was a team Captain and awarded US Lacrosse Academic All-American. He went on to become a freshman starter and defensive cornerstone for Lehigh University’s NCLL team. On and off the field, Coach Welton is defined by his intense dedication to his team’s performance and his unwavering commitment to each player’s personal development.
 

Jack Albrecht
Jack started his lacrosse career in 8th grade, playing for the Bellevue Blue Team.  He then proceeded to be a three-year player on Bellevue High School’s Varsity team.  Through his tenure on the Varsity team,  he was a two-year captain, two-year starter, won three state championships, and was named First Team All-KingCo at LSM, US Lacrosse All-American and US Lacrosse Academic All-American in his senior season.  Upon graduating from Bellevue in 2016, Jack enrolled at the University of Washington and played there at a collegiate level.  In his freshman season at UW, Jack was named the Huskies' “Freshman of the Year” as well as being named to the Honorable Mention All-Conference team for his work as the team’s starting LSM.  Off the field, Jack was the Head Coach of Bellevue’s 1st/2nd grade lacrosse team in his junior and senior years of high school, as well as being a counselor at the Bellevue Lacrosse camps all four years of his years as a player there.  

Michael Medzegian
Michael started playing lacrosse in 7th grade and from there went on to win three state championships as a leader of Bellevue High School's Varsity lacrosse team. He was a three-year varsity starting defenseman and a two-year captain. Michael was selected to the All-State first team his junior and senior year, as well as being named a US Lacrosse All-American his senior year. In 2016, Michael graduated from high school and went on to play at the collegiate level for the University of Oregon. There he started his freshman year for the nationally ranked Ducks as they won their league championship for the first time in five years. He also made the Honorable Mention all-conference defense list.

In addition, the camp will feature counselors of current and past Bellevue High School Lacrosse players.
